PAT Testing

Landlec: Professional, compliant & insured

Routine examination of electrical equipment is necessary to ensure that it’s safe to use. PAT testing must be carried out by a competent person, including visual inspections and electronic tests – which is something we can provide here at Landlec.

Over the last 15 years, we’ve worked with domestic and commercial clients, as well as landlords, across the wider Berkshire region, helping to ensure that all UK electrical safety obligations are met.

We’re often asked is PAT testing a legal requirement? and, while this isn’t the case, it is the recommended course of action if you have electrical equipment onsite and want to enjoy peace of mind that fire risks are significantly reduced.

Pricing

  • Up to £65 for 15 appliances.
  • Up to £90 for 30 appliances.

Employers and landlords are legally required under the Electricity at Work Regulations to ensure that all electrical equipment onsite is safe to use – and the most efficient way to ensure this is to have annual PAT tests carried out.

Routine testing can help to prevent electrical accidents, shocks and fires, as faults are found early on and can be rectified before they pose any significant risks.

Landlec, as an independent electrical contractor, is approved by the NAPIT and has been providing professional PAT testing services across the Home Counties. All work is carried out quickly, efficiently and in line with current electrical regulations.

Our Process

Get in Touch

Book an appointment with a Landlec electrician either online, using our contact form, or over the phone on 07724209879. Alternatively, you can email hello@landlec.co.uk and a member of the team will be in touch. We’re available for emergency callouts 24/7, as well as standard work.

Visual Inspections & Functionality Checks

Once we’ve found out more about the job in question, we can arrange a site survey at a time convenient to you. Depending on the complexity of the electrical work required, the time taken to properly assess the job can vary.

In-Depth Testing

After the site survey has been conducted and we have a better idea of the level of work involved, we can then arrange a date for the job to start. For smaller projects or emergency electrical work, on-the-day appointments are available.
